Road Work update, June 17, 2013: Isle View: gravel has been placed, and pulverizing will begin Tuesday June 18. Wildwood: gravel is being placed today (June 17) and will be puverized when Isle View is done. Plateau: gravel will be placed when Wildwood is done, with pulverizing to follow. Paving is scheduled to begin shortly after July 4, with Isle View first on the list. Garrett Bay: WPS will have Asplundh do their regular maintenance during July with 2 trucks coming in for the work.
Appliance and shredding day was very successful. We had cars in line at 8:30, started at 9:00am and by 1:00pm we had 114 people from Liberty Grove and 55 people from the Village of Sister Bay. We will be doing both again on Sept 28th from 9am until 1pm. A reminder that this is for the residents of Liberty Grove and the Village of Sister Bay only.

THE ROADS CURRENTLY SCHEDULED ARE WILDWOOD RD FROM HWY 42 TO BEACH, SYLVAN LN, SCANDIA RD, COTTAGE RD, BLACKBERRY LN, GRASSE LN, PORCUPINE BAY RD, BEACH RD TO MOSSY CLIFF FROM THE NORTH, SKAUGUM RD, GREEN RD FROM OLD STAGE TO BEACH RD, ADDITIONAL ROADS MAY BE ADDED AS REQUIRED.
The Town of Liberty Grove sits on the northern most tip of the Door County peninsula and covers approximately 34,750 acres. Its 45 miles of shoreline are just one reason that more than 1,730 people have chosen Liberty Grove as their place to call home.
Of the 9,926.21 total acres of County and State parks located in Door County, 2,594.73 acres are located in Liberty Grove. Besides 1 State park and 2 County parks, Liberty Grove has more than 11 parks and picnic areas, some designed for swimming and some for scenic viewing. Liberty Grove also provides many water access points along the shoreline.
Liberty Grove is governed by a Board of Supervisors. Monthly meetings are held on the first and third Wednesday of each month and are held at the Town Hall on Old Stage Road and begin at 7:00pm unless noted. The public is welcome to attend all open meetings. The Town Hall office is open from 8:30 to 11:30am and 1:00 to 4:00pm Monday thru Friday.
