As of May 1, 2007 10 municipalities in Door County will be charging a room tax fee of 5.5%. This fee is being charged to help promote Door County as a tourist destination and offset the financial obligation of our communities to do this. The Villages of Egg Harbor, Ephraim and Sister Bay and the Towns of Baileys Harbor, Egg Harbor, Gibraltar, Jacksonport, Liberty Grove, Nasewaupee and Sevastopol have come together to form the Door County Tourism Zone. Their Commission consists of:
