Minutes for Meeting on June 29, 2009

The meeting was called to order at 6:02 pm by Fred Anderson. In attendance was Fred Anderson, Jeff Johnson and James Slomski, clerk. Keith Bridenhagen was absent. Also present was Steve Jacobson, Village of Sister Bay Utilities Supervisor, Peter Sauer and Bud Kalms.

Roll Call- Jeff Johnson and Fred Anderson. Keith Bridenhagen absent.

Jeff Johnson made a motion to approve the previous minutes and Fred Anderson second. Pass 2-0

Public Input.-Fred Anderson indicated the Village of Sister is planning to update new rates. Old rates $31.80 new waste water rates $47.00. Rate factored in 29.8%

Village of Sister uncovered an overpayment by the Sanitary /Utility District of $42,469.30 from 2005 until 1st Qtr 2009. A check will be issued once the Village of Sister Bay Sanitary approves it.

Bud Kalms- Jeff Johnson is going to step down and Peter Sauer is going to take over for him.

Village of Sister Bay Utility Manager Report-Steve Jacobson-Golobic and Kersebet paid their REU and Impact fees.

Question came up as to enforcement of well inspections and citations issued. This item will be discussed when the intergovernmental agreement is discussed between Sister Bay and Town of Liberty Grove.

Beach Road Update-a. Work is done and ready for hook up. B. Fred Anderson made a motion to pay Harbor construction $30,301.26 and Jeff Johnson second. Pass 2-0.
Fred Anderson revised the payment motion to $30,401.26 and Jeff Johnson second. Pass 2-0

Yacht Harbor Update-Fred Anderson intends to send a letter to the Erickson family concerning as easement on their property. It would be beneficial to them at this time to allow the easement to take place. Jeff Johnson made a motion to draft a letter and Fred Anderson second. Pass 2-0.

Payment of bills-Jeff Johnson made a motion to approve the payment of bills and Fred Anderson seconded. Pass 2-0
Future meeting- Open until final bill from Harbor Construction.

Fred Anderson made a motion to adjourn and Jeff Johnson second. Pass 2-0. Meeting ended at 7:15pm
