Minutes for Meeting on May 14, 2009

Time: 6:00pm
Place: Liberty Grove Town Hall, 11161 Old Stage Rd, Sister Bay, WI

The meeting was called to order at 6:00 pm by Keith Bridenhagen. In attendance was Keith Bridenhagen, Fred Anderson and James Slomski, clerk. Jeff Johnson was absent. Also present was Steve Jacobson, Village of Sister Bay Utilities Supervisor.

Roll Call- Keith Bridenhagen and Fred Anderson. Jeff Johnson absent.

Public Input.-Steve Jacobson spoke for a property owner who was incorrectly assessed additional tax amount on last years tax bill for expansion of sanitary district improvements not made to his property. A letter will come from the sanitary district indicating that he should not have been charged and will receive and adjustment and not charged in the future.

Sewer extension update- Blasting is continuing and pipe to be laid per Steve Jacobson.

Erickson property update-Keith Bridenhagen presented projected costs of connection for water and sewer at the same time. Plans and costs will be sent to the Erickson children who own the property when a letter from Robert E. Lee & Assoc. is sent to Fred Anderson for approval and signature.

Workers compensation discussion-Since we are a utility district under the town do we still need insurance. Fred Anderson will talk to Bud about this. Bud or Fred will contact Shirley Hanson from Thomas Pfeifer insurance concerning this matter.
Resolution for yearly Compliance Maintenance Annual report-The Village of Sister Bay is reviewing rates at this time. Fred Anderson made a motion of the resolution number to be 2009-01 Keith Bridenhagen second. Pass 2-0

Beach Road-A. Road pavement schedule in a few weeks.
B. We have DNR approval for water main extension.


Payment of bills-Fred Anderson made a motion to approve the payment of bills and Keith Bridenhagen seconded. Pass 2-0
Future meeting- Open until work is completed on Beach Road.

Keith Bridenhagen made a motion to adjourn and Fred Anderson second. Pass 2-0. Meeting ended at 6:35pm
