Residents wonder why we are agressively testing septic and holding tanks to prevent ground water contamination. Here is an example of a 20+ year old metal septic tank recently pulled because damage and possible leakage. Damaged septic tanks can go undetected without proper inspections. This causes waste to leak and eventually get into the ground water. This will find its way into your tap water.

Town Hall hours: Monday thru Friday 8:30am until 11:30am and 1:00pm until 4:00pm. The Town Hall is located just north of the intersection of Waters End Rd on Old Stage Rd in Sister Bay.
Town Meetings: Regular Town Board meetings are held on the first and third Wednesdays of each month. Agendas are available at the Pioneer Store, Bumper to Bumper Auto and Sister Bay General Store on Hwy 57 as well as the Town Hall front doors. Minutes are available at the Town Hall once they have been approved.

Recycling: Drop-off site available for Liberty Grove residents at Going Garbage, 10564 Old Stage Rd. Mon, Tues, Thurs & Fri from 9:00am until 3:00pm. Sat. from 8:00am until noon. They are closed on Wednesday. Recyclables accepted as of January 1, 2011 to Dec. 31, 2013 are magazines, newspaper, junk mail and cardboard flattened and plastics #1 & 2 rinsed clean, caps removed, tin cans, aluminum cans and glass bottles and jars. Paper items should be kept separate from containers. We will also provide a separate collection bin for plastics #3-7 as long as market conditions permit. Voter Registration: Register to vote at the Town Hall during office hours. Be prepared with identification.

Building Permits: Applications are available at the Town Hall. The inspectors are available on Tues and Thurs from 9:00am until 10:30am.(desk hours) Inspections take place 5 days a week. To call for an inspection dial 1-800-422-5220.
Senior Meal Program: Lunches are served at the Liberty Grove Town Hall on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at noon. Contact the Senior Center at (920)746-2542 for more information.
