Transportation Thru the Red Cross: The American Red Cross-Lakeland Chapter offers many services.  One of them is transportation services for those over 60 years of age to a from medical visits.  Call (920)746-2167 for more information or visit their website at www.arclakeland.org.

Door County VFW: The VFW is looking for veterans who are serving or have served in Afghanistan or Iraq - Carl T. Carlson, Commander of Liberty Grove Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8337 is seeking help to identify veterans who have served or are serving in Iraq or Afghanistan.  So as not to violate a veteran's privacy, all information you share should be voluntary.  You can either complete a survey at www.DoorCountyVeterans.com or contact Commander Carlson at 920-854-9111 or Service Officer Jeffrey Budzis at 920-854-4728.  VFW Post 8337 meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm at the Liberty Grove Town Hall, 11161 Old Stage Rd, Sister Bay.
