Chairman Goss called the Commission meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Also present: Commissioners Sauer, Karkau, J. Nelson and Clerk/Administrator Kalms. Commissioners Shumway and Forkert were absent, and Commissioner Miller was attending another meeting. . Bill Nelson and Mr. & Mrs. Youmans also attended.
Sauer/J. Nelson to adopt the agenda as published. Carried 4-0.
Goss/J. Nelson to approve the 8/10/09 minutes. Carried 4-0.
Youmans Conditional Use Permit. Bill Nelson explained that the plan is to add a garage attached by a breezeway to the east side of the existing 2 bedroom house and construct a two story addition on the opposite side; there is no attic or crawl space for storage, so a room above the garage will be for storage. Youmans said the height is less than 27 feet; all structures have to be attached in this neighborhood; when asked, he said he could get a letter of approval from the condominium association. Sauer moved, J. Nelson second to recommend that the Town Board support the conditional use application on parcel #018-25-0017 for Bill & Christine Youmans. Carried 4-0.
Comprehensive Plan Review, Ch. 8. Goss noted that the next meeting will not be until September 21, and seeing there are only 4 members of the Commission here tonight, the discussion for chapter 8 should wait until that next meeting. As chapter 8 can be quite involved, consensus was to set a one hour time limit for that discussion on 9/21. Goss wondered if all the changes so far could go to Bay-Lake Regional Planning. Kalms said the changes as recommended so far would go on the next agenda.
Next meeting is September 21 at 7 PM.
Goss/Nelson to adjourn. Carried 4-0. 7:28 PM.
